Although this is an Islamic area, there are Christian churches and Orthodox Jews are walking on the road. A multi-cultural community exists here. I felt the atmosphere in this place quite heavy with cultural and historical significance with an aura of gloom. イスラーム地区だが、キリスト教の教会が有り、通りには正統派のユダヤ人が歩く。さながら人種と宗教の見本市だ。 歴史の重みのせいか、他よりも密度を感じる空気が、粘っこく体にまとわりつくようだ。街の陰が濃い。
